who recons some of the lf2 should be in hf and if so who, i recon rudolf(transform and double),firen(fire ball, fire run and combine),freeze(all his moves and combine) and firzen (cause he rulez)
none of them. maybe some will be partly redone (as has been mentioned lucas->deep, shawn->henry) but they won't be the same ones. there will probably be a ninja type, as you say, but fire+ice not sure. it could be any of a number of different types of energy-heat, explosions, electricity, warps(vortexes) speed. control over:metal, wood, water, rock(earth), shadows, air.
there are many more types of mana fighters than there are physical ones. probably we'll get a successor to davis and dennis, maybe combined into one. probably one for john (magician type) too.
bat, jack, justin and julian-no. monk-maybe a shaolin fighter or the like, also doubtfully. louis-it sounds like jenny will be like him with air attacks. mark->drew in many ways. sorcerer-no, maybe combined into the char for john. knight-no, but definitely a replacement for stronger arena-mode enemies.
bandit and hunter-not as they are, but arena mode has to have SOME cannon fodder, no?
jan-will be replaced by a different healing char. (there has to be at least one besides the magician i think). maybe a priestess?

probably one or more of the chars will be upgradeable (like louisex and firzen).

as for weapons-they will be different, but not as changed. boomerang will stay, baseball bat will go together with ball, knife
will probably stay but not sure. but i digress.

woody-no idea. a capoera char? a hung gar or wing chan user? probably as he is he will not appear but the handstands and flipping bay be incorporated into another character.

jan(healer), knight(strong end guardian), bandit/hunter(fodder), sorcerer(enemy magic user), firen/freeze (type magic users)

deep->lucas, mark->drew, henry->shawn, louis->jenny

i'm sure there will be more chars in hf than in lf2, and more enemies. obviously there will bea lot more chars. that i have not mentioned here (especially enemies) but you asked what will be transfered fro lf2 to hf.
but a character with copycat/transformation abilities should be made so rudolf should be remade for hf and i think shawn should have more of henreys abilities
This isn't necessary. If you wanna to play with LF2's chars play LF2 and don't ask for LF2's chars in Hero Fighter.

This is quite useless.

i second this. I expect Hero Fighter to be like Street Fighter 3. A roster full of newcomers with similarities in strategy and moves when compared to it's predecessor's characters. Of course, SF3 had some familiar faces...fingers crossed for an older Davis with some new moves and some old combos...wait, I just realized that HF isn't LF3 so...
that's what i said about jobs. certain positions need to be filled (healer fodder stronger enemy etc.) but i am hoping for originality.
that's why i said i only expect three more characters similar to LF2.
i recon dragons should be added as mounts and a werewolf/vampire character
a flying mount would be awesome. it would need to fly low enough so that it can be hit with jump-attack, but high so that regular melee does not affect it. but to attack from it you would have to dive down making you vulnerable to melee (unless you're shawn =D )
what I'd definitely like to see come back are transformations, fusions, potions and smaller weapons
potiojns and small weapows will SURE BE BACK, there is no reason for taking it out, not sure about the other stuff
