Today marks the first playable release of Hero Fighter, namely Hero Fighter v0.1. Check it out at http://www.herofighter.com/ (opens in new window).

Currently the playable characters are Lucas, Drew and Shawn. As shown in the demo video, the gameplay is similar to Little Fighter 2 (new window), but with a whole new style. Differences include:

• energy (tiredness) bar
• "platforms" (able to stand on large objects)
• riding system
• able to be hit when on ground
• others

As with LF2, Hero Fighter still holds many secrets yet to be discovered, even at this early stage. So, get out there and have fun.

I had a chat with Marti Wong today and he allowed me to use the title "Official Fansite" for Hero Fighter EMPIRE:

That was really nice to hear - and so we're the Official Fansite even if the game isn't released yet... :)

HERO FIGHTER - EMPIRE

Never heard of the game "Hero Fighter"? Well, it will be released in the end of july, but since Marti Wong told us that he work on a new game a long time ago this isn't really new. Never heard of Marti Wong? He's one of the chinese game creators who made the game "Little Fighter 2" which is very popular since more then ten year. And since we all wait for his new, excellent game we already started working on the new fansite. Who's we? Well - Blue Phoenix, Azriel and me - Razen.
